The plaintiffs, Jerry Freese and Becky Freese, husband and wife, brought suit against the defendant, Howard Buoy, in two counts, one for breach of a sharecropping agreement and another for trespass. In each count the plaintiffs sought compensatory damages of $3,750 and punitive damages of $50,000.
