The plaintiff, Nora Stein, appeals from the summary judgment rendered by the trial court in favor of the defendants, Rickey A. Horton and Scott W. Sawyer, administrator of the estate of Jason J. Horton, Sr. She also challenges the denial of her motion to reargue and the granting of the estate’s subsequent request for sanctions. On appeal, the plaintiff claims that the court improperly (1) determined that the doctrine of res judicata barred her from bringing the present cause of action, (2) denied her motion to reargue and (3) granted sanctions.
