This action is before me on plaintiff’s motion to remand it to the Johnson circuit court, from whence it was removed. The ground of the motion is that the amount in controversy is not sufficient to give jurisdiction to this court. The action was brought on a life insurance policy issued by the defendant on the life of Ernest Woods, since deceased, for the sum of $5,000, in which plaintiff was the benefieiary. The plaintiff, by the prayer in her petition, seeks judgment for the sum of $3,000 only, and, by reason thereof, the amount of recovery was limited…
