This matter is before the court on the defendants’ Motion for Summary Judgment (Doc. 63).

I. BACKGROUND

Caryn McCue is a former employee of the Kansas Department of Human Resources (“KDHR”). The plaintiff alleges that her supervisor, Joseph Ybarra, sexually harassed her from 1986 through October 3,1990. The plaintiff filed an internal discrimination complaint with KDHR on October 4, 1990. KDHR subsequently removed Mr. Ybarra from direct supervision of the plaintiff.
