On November 20, 1880, W. W. Stokes executed and delivered a certain deed, the parts of which pertinent to this appeal read as follows :

“The State of South Carolina, County of Kershaw
“Know all men by these presents that I, W. W. Stokes, for and in consideration of the natural love and affection which I have and bear to my children, viz.: Joseph F. Stokes, John PI.
