Plaintiff Karen Portera filed this lawsuit claiming that her employer, defendant State of Alabama Department of Finance, and her supervisor, defendant John McClenney, discriminated against her and subjected her to a hostile work environment because she is white; she also claims that she was retaliated against after complaining of discrimination.
