Eleven seasonal employees brought suit against their employer, Kellogg Co. and Kellogg USA, Inc. (collectively, Kellogg), after Kellogg failed to honor an alleged oral promise to hire them for “permanent” employment if they “kept their noses clean” and continued to work for an indefinite number of summer seasons. The district court1 granted summary judgment in Kellogg’s favor on all of Appellants’ claims.
