In this copyright infringement suit, Plaintiff Elmo Shropshire claims that he co-owns the copyright to the musical composition of the song and that Defendant Aubrey Canning, Jr., who resides in eastern (Ontario) Canada, uploaded, and failed to remove, an infringing video on YouTube.
