This appeal arises out of the judgments against the defendant for second degree murder, § 565.021, RSMo 1986; first degree assault, § 565.050, RSMo 1986; and armed criminal action, § 571.015, RSMo 1986. The judgments were obtained in the Circuit Court of St. Louis City and the defendant was sentenced to a total of 25 years imprisonment.
