Plaintiff-appellant, Stephen R. Lippy, appeals from the trial court’s judgment granting the directed verdict motions of defendants-appellees, Society National Bank (“Society”) and Universal Asbestos Management, Inc. (“UAM”), made after appellant’s opening statement.
On September 19, 1991, appellant Lippy, on behalf of himself and on behalf of North Mar Center V (“North Mar”), an Ohio general partnership, filed a two-count complaint sounding in negligence against Society and UAM.
