At the conclusion of all the testimony the defendant Louise Bates moved the court for a directed verdict in her favor on the ground that she was not personally liable for the result of her negligence, if any, in the operation of an electric machine or the administration of the treatment to plaintiff. The defendant Harvey E. Miller filed a similar motion, and the court thereupon instructed the jury that the defendant Harvey E.
