MEMORANDUM OPINION and ORDER

In this case, plaintiffs have mounted a challenge to their employer’s overtime practices under the Fair Labor Standards Act (“FLSA”), 29 U.S.C. § 201 et seq. Specifically, plaintiffs — who work as Residential Program Workers (“RPWs”) in defendant’s group homes for the mentally retarded — claim that they should have been paid overtime for the hours they were required to sleep on defendant’s premises. 1 Defendant has filed a motion for summary judgment, dkt. no. 32. For the following reasons, I will deny the motion.
