Action to cancel certain deeds and to have the plaintiffs adjudged to be the owners of a farm which the deeds purported to convey. There were findings and judgment for the defendants. The plaintiffs appeal from the judgment.

The plaintiff Mary St. Denis and the defendant Gabriel St. Denis were married in the state of New York in 1862. The other plaintiffs are their children. In 1865, after the Civil War in which St. Denis served, they settled in Rice county. In 1875 Mrs. St. Denis took her children and returned to the home of her father in New York..
