Appellant, an immunized witness, appeals from the district court’s order of contempt which followed his refusal to testify before a grand jury as directed by the court.

A special grand jury for the District of Massachusetts has been investigating illegal gambling, including official protection allegedly rendered by a corrupt Massachusetts State Police Officer.
