Action instituted October 26, 1920, upon a policy of marine insurance by which the defendant insured the plaintiff in the sum of $1,215.00 against loss, due to the happening of perils of the sea and other marine risks, of a cargo of coal shipped by the plaintiff on board the steamship Northwestern from Charleston, S. C., destined for Cuba, direct or otherwise.
