Plaintiff Donna Scharff worked for the Raytheon Company. The Raytheon Company employees’ contributions, which are held in the Raytheon Employees Disability Trust (“Trust”), and the Company jointly fund Defendant Raytheon Company Short Term Disability Plan (“Short Term Plan”). Only the Trust funds Defendant Raytheon Company Long Term Disability Plan (“Long Term Plan”). Metropolitan Life Insurance Company (“MetLife”) administers, but does not insure, the Plans.
