Plaintiff brought an action to recover damages claimed to have resulted from the alleged fraud and deceit of the defendant. There was a verdict and judgment in his favor for $7,500 and the defendant appeals.

The record discloses that plaintiff was employed by the defendant at its factory located in Harvey, Illinois, and on January 5, 1917, while he was at work he received an electrical shock and was permanently injured.
