The complainant is the receiver of the’ *337Supreme Assembly of the National Dotare, being appointed by the circuit court, in chancery, of Kent county. The supreme assembly of this order was organized as a corporation some time in the year 1889, under the provisions of Act No. 104, Laws of 1869, as amended by various acts, now standing as sections 3949-3955, 1 How. Stat. It is a secret or fraternal society, lodge, or council, under the supervision of a grand or supreme body, securing members through the lodge system exclusively.
