This is an action for damages for alleged malpractice. The defendant C.O. Sites was a practicing osteopathic physician at Harris, Missouri, and defendant George Laughlin an osteopathic physician and surgeon at Kirksville, Missouri. Plaintiff, Reed, resided, and was engaged in the furniture business, at New Town, Missouri. Plaintiff became ill and upon examination and diagnosis by defendants they advised plaintiff that an operation for appendicitis was immediately necessary and pursuant to such advice plaintiff entered a hospital conducted by defendant Laughlin and the operation was performed…
