First Bank & Trust Company of Idaho (bank) brought this action to collect an alleged debt. A jury trial was held, and a verdict was rendered in favor of the defendant, Parker Brothers, Inc. On November 19, 1984, the bank made a timely I.R. C.P. 50(b) motion for judgment notwithstanding the verdict or, in the alternative, a new trial under Rule 59(a). After considering oral argument and the briefs in support of the bank’s motion, the district court denied it on February 28, 1985.
