Attorney Daniel Silverman, court-appointed PCRA1 counsel (Counsel) for a defendant convicted of murder and sentenced to life imprisonment by the Court of Common Pleas of Philadelphia County (trial court), appeals an order dated No*773vember 7, 2012, which awarded counsel fees in a reduced amount (Fee Award).
