Plaintiffs Brian and Melissa Borneman filed this action on July 12, 2002, alleging various claims against Defendant Principal Life Insurance Company (“Principal”) and Defendant The Principal Select Savings Plan for Employees (“Plan”) under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001 et seq.
