On April 10, 1940 John Naprawa and Bridget Naprawa, his wife, filed a complaint in the circuit court of Cook county against Local No. 1 of the Chicago Flat-Janitors’ Union and William C. Quesse, alleging ownership of the premises at 2114-22 N. Kedzié Boulevard, Chicago, consisting of a three-story brick and English basement court apartment building, containing 49 four and five room apartments and 2 shops; that the premises were subject to a mortgage indebtedness of $70,000, payable at the rate of $625 a month;…
