An emergency department nurse brings a complaint against her former employer alleging that it discharged her for having exercised her rights under the Maine Whistleblowers’ Protection Act (“MWPA”), 26 M.R.S.A. §§ 831-840, in violation of section 4572(1)(A) of the Maine Human Rights Act (“MHRA”), 5 M.R.S.A. §§ 4551-4631.
