OPINION OF THE COURT

NAUGHTON, Judge:

Appellant was tried on 9 December 1983 by a military judge sitting as a special court-martial at Fort Lewis, Washington. In accordance with his pleas, appellant was convicted of twelve specifications of larceny in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 921 (1982). The military judge sentenced appellant to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for five months, forfeiture of $382.00 pay per month for five months, and reduction to the grade of Private E-l.
