January 6, 1927, the respondents Kelly and wife agreed to sell to the appellant certain real property located in Watsonville, together with the improvements thereon for the sum of $24,000, payable $5,500 cash, $600 on April 6, 1927, and $600 every six months thereafter until the whole was paid, together with interest on deferred payments at the rate of six per cent per annum, interest payable quarterly.
