{¶ 1} James E. Meyers appeals from the trial court’s entry of summary judgment in favor of appellee ABN AMRO Mortgage Group (“ABN”) on its complaint for foreclosure of a mortgage.

{¶ 2} Meyers advances three assignments of error on appeal. First, he contends that the trial court erred in sustaining the motion for summary judgment after ABN failed to address his affirmative defenses of fraud and failure of consideration.
