MEMORANDUM OPINION

ALEXANDER HARVEY, II, Senior District Judge.

This is an action in admiralty brought by the lessor of certain ocean shipping containers used to transport cargo between the United States and Brazil. Suit has been brought pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1333, Supplemental Rule B for Certain Admiralty and Maritime claims and Rule 9(h), F.R.Civ.P.

Plaintiff Cronos Containers, Ltd. (“Cro-nos”) and defendant Amazon Lines, Ltd. (“Amazon”) entered into various written leases whereby Cronos as the lessor leased to Amazon numerous ocean shipping containers. In its complaint, Cronos has alleged…
