Plaintiff appeals by leave granted the circuit court order affirming the district court order that granted summary disposition to defendants on the ground that plaintiff’s claim for rent was barred by accord and satisfaction. We affirm.

Plaintiff leased commercial premises to defendants, the owners and operators of a pharmacy. Plaintiff acquired the lease, which ran through December 1997, by assignment.
