Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Fulton County (Giardino, J.), rendered September 15, 2000, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of rape in the first degree (two counts) and endangering the welfare of a child.
In connection with allegations that defendant compelled a seven-year-old female relative to engage in sexual intercourse on three occasions between September 1999 and November 1999, defendant was indicted on three counts of rape in the first degree and one count of endangering the welfare of a child.
