On June 9, 1939, the trustees of the Horse Heaven Irrigation District (a dissolved district) filed their account and petition praying for the distribution of the assets of the district to those by law entitled thereto, that the trust estate administered upon by them be closed, and that they be discharged from their trust. In their account, the trustees reported that Rudolph Piening and Otto Piening were the owners of certain described land within the limits of the district and were entitled to have distributed to them a proportionate part of its assets.
