On August 26, 1946, the National Labor Relations Board ordered the L. A. Young Spring & Wire Corporation to cease and desist from what it had held to be unfair labor practices, and to bargain collectively concerning wages and other conditions of employment with Chapter No. 155, Foremen’s Association of America. That union had theretofore been certified by the Board as the exclusive bargaining agent of the foremen and assistant foremen in the company’s Los Angeles plant.
