SANDSTROM, Justice.

First American Bank West (the Bank) appealed from a district court “letter opinion,”1 which we will treat as an appeal from the district court judgment awarding the Bank $2,800 from Kathleen L. Berdahl. Under N.D.C.C. § 34r-02-ll, the Bank contends Berdahl owed it all her commissions *64from securities sales. We affirm because of an agreement to the contrary.
