STEPHENS, Circuit Judge.

F. A. Jones, a resident of California, appeals from a judgment against him in favor of Mildred Bell Weaver, as administratrix of the estate of Clyde E. Weaver, deceased, in the sum of $10,000 damages and costs; and from a judgment against him in favor of Josephine Thompson, as administratrix of the estate of Edwin C. Thompson, deceased, in the same amount, both judgments having been rendered upon verdicts after trial by jury.
