These are exceptions of the defendant to the denial of its motion for a directed verdict in an action of contract brought against the defendant for breach of an oral contract alleged to have been made by the defendant with the plaintiff to employ him as long as he was able to perform the duties of bis position, in return for the filing by the plaintiff of a waiver of his right to become a member of the Boston retirement system.
