DUBOFSKY, Justice.
In this interlocutory appeal under C.A.R. 4.1, the People contest a ruling of the El Paso County District Court suppressing in-culpatory statements made by the defendant, Cheryel Kay Rhodes, and evidence derived from the statements. The district court, considering testimony about the defendant’s mental condition at the time she made the statements in light of this court’s decision in People v.
