Edi Javier Godinez-Arroyo petitions for review of a Board of Immigration Appeals decision ordering him removed from the United States because of his conviction for a crime “involving moral turpitude.” See 8 U.S.C. § 1227(a)(2)(A)® (providing that aliens convicted of “a crime involving moral turpitude” are subject to removal). The BIA determined that Godinez-Arroyo’s second-degree assault conviction for “recklessly causing] serious physical injury to another person” is a conviction of a crime involving moral turpitude.
