Plaintiff pro se Ronald Davidson, a New York State (“State”) prisoner, appeals from a final judgment entered in the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York following a six-day jury trial before Thomas J. McAvoy, Chief Judge, dismissing his suit under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 (1988) against defendants officials of the New York State Department of Correctional Services (“DOCS”) for interference with his right of access to the courts.
