William Ricard appeals from a judgment dismissing his second amended complaint against Pacific Indemnity Company, the workers’ compensation insurance carrier for his former employer, and two of its employees. The complaint contained two counts: the first, against Pacific alone, alleged that the insurer had intentionally breached its duty to deal with appellant fairly and in good faith; the second, against Pacific and two of its employees, alleged intentional infliction of emotional distress.
