Infringement suit on a patent for an automobile tire pressure gauge, invented by the defendant Pollock. On September 18, 1916, Pollock verified his application for the patent in suit, and on the same day made a written assignment thereof to a corporation known as Firex Manufacturing Company, ai\d in the assignment requested that, the patent lie issued to the corporation as .his assignee.
