The accused in this case was tried by general court-martial and found guilty of six specifications of larceny by check, in violation of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, Article 121, 50 USC § 715. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, total forfeitures of all pay and allowances, and confinement for 18 months. The findings and sentence were approved by the convening authority and later affirmed by a board of review in the office of The Judge Advocate General of the Army. We granted accused’s petition for review but limited consideration…
