The complainants in the original bill, the sufficiency of which was challenged in the chancery court by demurrer, are property owners and taxpayers in the Medina special school district of Gibson county, a gium-municipality created by chapter 88 of the Acts of the Extra Session of the General Assembly 1920. By the provisions of that act property owners within the boundaries of the school district described therein are liable to pay taxes upon their property at the rate of forty cents on the $100 worth for the payment of certain…
