Opinion

DRANGINIS, J.

In this summary process action, the defendant, L’Enfance Magique, Inc., appeals from the judgment of the trial court, denying its motion to open the default judgment rendered against it for failure to appear in a timely manner. On appeal, the defendant claims that the court lacked subject matter jurisdiction because the plaintiff had no standing to bring the action, as (1) it is not an owner or lessor pursuant to General Statutes § 47a-23 and (2) it is a stranger to the proceedings.1 We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
