MEMORANDUM

DAVIS, District Judge.

This is an employment discrimination case instituted by plaintiff, Shahrzad Arba-bi, a former jewelry salesperson, pursuant to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e, et seq. Plaintiff also asserts a state law claim for intentional infliction of emotional distress.

By order entered on March 12, 2002, I granted, without prejudice, defendants’ motion to dismiss. Plaintiff then filed a First Amended Complaint in which she corrected few of the substantive defects contained in the allegations of the original complaint, and she added…
