OPINION OF THE COURT

WERNER, Judge:

Contrary to his pleas, the appellant was convicted by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members of rape, larceny, two specifications of assault, adultery, and three other specifications alleging misconduct discrediting to the armed forces, in violation of Articles 120, 121,128, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 920, 921, 928, and 934 (1982), respectively.
