BUCKLEY, Circuit Judge:

This case presents questions of congressional immunity under the Constitution’s Speech or Debate Clause. In order to prepare their defense in a civil action involving private parties, appellants seek enforcement of two subpoenas duces tecum requiring disclosure of certain information and documents in the possession of a congressional subcommittee.
