OPINION ON REMAND

HOLCOMB, Justice.

This is a remand1 from an appeal2 from a trial court’s grant of a judgment of forfeiture more than 30 days after the defendant had filed an answer. After our original opinion and on the same day this case was remanded, the Supreme Court delivered their opinion in State v. $435,000, 842 S.W.2d 642 (Tex.1992) (per curiam), settling discrepancies among the various appeals courts in Texas on this issue.
