ORDER
*535Plaintiff Ryan Fratzola (“Fratzola”) has appealed the special trial master’s discovery order dated May 21, 2012 granting the defendants’ motion for sanctions and ordering Fratzola to pay the $625.00 cancellation fee of Robert W. Mauthe, M.D. who was retained by the defendants to conduct a physical examination of Fratzola pursuant to Pa.R.C.P. 4010. The parties have filed their supporting and opposing memoranda of law, and following the completion of oral argument on My 23, 2012, Fratzola’s appeal was submitted for a decision.
