This is an original proceeding to obtain an order of superintending control. Nicholas Ramirez filed a claim for workers’ compensation benefits against several employers, including plaintiff, East Jordan Iron Works. In a decision dated June 6, 1977, the hearing referee dismissed plaintiff as a party defendant. An appeal was taken to the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board and the board affirmed the dismissal of plaintiff in an opinion and order dated August 3, 1978.
