OPINION

SWEET, District Judge.

Plaintiff General Cigar Co. Inc., (“General Cigar”) has filed the instant motion for inter alia, a preliminary injunction to enjoin defendant G.D.M. Inc. (“GDM”) from using the trademark COHIBA for premium cigars. An expensive cigar is a symbol of influence, sophistication and power, 1 the gift of heads of state, 2 which has found an increasing popularity with new, young and affluent smokers.
